Volunteer at Day Camp

We're looking for volunteers who love children and have a passion and excitement to share Jesus with them each day. There's a role for everyone! We need volunteers with all sorts of skills and experience to join our day camp team.

There are two main roles need for both of the camps: Group leaders and Group assistants! You can indicate on the signup which group and which role you are interested in helping with.

Day Camp Dates

• Preschool/Kindergarten Day Camp
  • July 11-15
  • 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• Grade School Day Camp
  • July 11-15
  • 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Volunteer Requirements

General requirements and expectations:

• Love Jesus
• Love kids
• Have great energy and enthusiasm
• Be available during required shifts
• Criminal Background Check (it's free and easy)

Group Leader Role:

• Lead groups of children for the duration of camp.
• Care for the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
• Lead groups through morning activities and afternoon out-trips.
• Build relationships and make connections with children and other leaders
• Lead Bible-centred discussion with your groups.
• Have gospel conversations with children.

Group Assistant Role:

• Assist leading groups of children for the duration of camp.
• Care for the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
• Assist the leader in leading groups through morning activities and afternoon out-trips.
• Build relationships and make connections with children and other leaders
• Assist the leader in leading Bible-centred discussion with your groups.
