Marriage Retreat

Cost: Three payments of $210/couple
Westside has a vision to see healthy and thriving marriages within the church. Good marriages don't just happen - they require an investment of our time and attention.
This February, Westside Church is heading to the beautiful Barnabas Retreat Centre to identify and unpack what is missing from the majority of marriages in the Church today. The result will be a revitalized relationship with your spouse and a marriage that is flourishing, adventurous, and fun (can you imagine?)!
In Matthew 19, Jesus quotes from Genesis 2:24, saying: "'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.' So, they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate."
"For this reason" - what reason is Jesus speaking of? This will be the focus of the retreat: discovering the specific, life-giving calling and purpose for which God has put you and your spouse together for ultimate fulfillment and joy!
Cost includes:
- Private accommodations for each couple
- Gourmet farm-to-table meals
- Charter boat from Langdale to Barnabas (return)

- Ministry sessions with a focus on discovering God's personal and specific purpose for your marriage
- Opportunity for ministry, biblical counsel, and prayer
- Rest and tranquility in nature
- Hot tub
- Hiking
- Times of personal connection with your spouse
- Time to form new friendships with other couples from Westside Church
Please note: We will be meeting at Horseshoe Bay to catch the ferry to Langdale at 9:15 a.m. on February 10th and departing from Langdale to Horseshoe Bay at 3:15 p.m. on the 11th. Ferry cost is $14/person.
Registration opens September 24th. Space is very limited. Register and pay your deposit to save your spot.

Intake for these events will prioritize Westside attendees first. Non-Westsiders will be placed on a waitlist.
This is an adult-only event. No children of any age are able to come.
