Online Monday Youth NIght

Why has Youth moved online?

Because of the evolving COVID-19 situation (see our full COVID-19 updates here), we have moved Monday Youth Nights to online meetings—for a time. As this is a time of much change and tumult for a lot of youth, we believe it is vital to stay connected and to continue to journey together as Westside Youth.

This will mean a couple of things:

  1. If you are already involved in a Youth small group, your group’s rhythms will be changing to accommodate this new method of meeting online. Your small group leader will guide you through those new rhythms.
  2. If you are not yet involved at Westside Youth (whether you attend Westside regularly or not), we encourage you to email us at youth@wchurch.ca and we will get you connected to our online meetings!
    1. Please give a few days for the leaders to respond to your request to join.

We’re excited to embark on a new way of meeting in community and for all God will do as we continue meeting!

Monday Youth Nights are a safe space for any grade 7-12 student, regardless of who they are, where they come from, or what they believe. We provide a space for Youth to encounter the presence of Jesus and learn more about who He is and what He is doing in our world. We typically gather each Monday night. We build community, worship, study the Scriptures, and talk/pray over each other in small groups led by our adult Youth Leaders. Our goal is to learn to be disciples of Jesus and make Him known by the power of the Spirit.
