The book of Nehemiah is the ancient story of a man stirred up in his heart for the mission of God. It’s a story about the power and effectiveness that comes when we align ourselves with what the Holy Spirit is already doing. And it’s a story about how our best attempts at success, however well intentioned, will always fall short of what’s truly needed. As we study the book of Nehemiah together, we’ll be challenged to step into the purpose and mission of our lives and be reminded that our only hope is always and forever the grace and goodness of our God.
