A visão do grupo Português é de conhecer mais de Jesus e fazê-lo conhecido através da cultura que estamos familiarizados e do nosso idioma. Assim sendo formados cada dia à imagem de Jesus enquanto Seu reino é revelado na cidade de Vancouver. 

Nós esperamos que através desse grupo você se sinta em casa e que independente das diferenças culturais, possamos estar unidos ao corpo de Cristo em Vancouver. Enquanto nos adaptamos à cultura local, nós queremos viver como família, andando juntos, compartilhando, e pregando o bom evangelho ensinado por nosso Jesus a todos que também falam Português. 

The vision of the Portuguese group is to know Jesus and make Jesus known through our shared language and culture. This way, we are being formed into the image of Jesus every day while His kingdom is revealed in the city of Vancouver.

We hope that through this group, you can feel at home, and united with the wider church body despite our cultural differences. While we’re adapting to the local culture, we want to live as a family; walking together, sharing, and preaching the good news of the gospel taught by Jesus to everyone who also speaks Portuguese.

Reuniões Quinzenais | Bi-weekly Meet-Up

Nós nos reunimos duas vezes por mês para nosso estudo bíblico onde acolhemos a todos que querem entender mais sobre a palavra de Deus. Também organizamos encontros esporádicos mais casuais com o intuito nos conhecermos melhor, nos divertir, e estarmos juntos enquanto aprendemos mais sobre Jesus.

Diversos eventos acontecem nesses encontros como caminhadas, boliche, jantares, etc. Se você gostaria de fazer parte disso, fique por dentro dos eventos no nosso calendário ou se cadastre para receber a newsletter mensal da Westside.

We meet bi-weekly for our bible study where we welcome all that wants to understand more about the word of God. We also organize more of casual hangouts to get to know each other, have fun, and be together while we learn the ways of Jesus.

We do a wide range of activities at these gatherings, such as hiking, bowling, having dinner together, etc. If you’d like to participate, keep an eye on the calendar for any upcoming events or sign up for Westside Church's monthly email newsletter.
